ChinaGEO Disaster Data Response (CDDR)
NRSCC 2021-12-31

ChinaGEO Disaster Data Response (CDDR) is carried out by ChinaGEO and is an international disaster assistance based on GEO Data Sharing and Data Management Principles. CDDR supports international disaster response with domestic satellites data, particularly for the disasters in developing countries, including but not limited to earthquakes, cyclones, landslides, volcanic eruptions, and flooding. In the past several years, CDDR was listed as one of the nine main disaster data providers by GEO, and was the only one in Asia. Its efforts and achievements have been published in GEO Highlight Report successively in three years. In July 2021, CDDR is formally established as a long-term mechanism by GEO China Secretariat.
