Focusing on global issues such as sustainable development, climate change, disaster risk reduction and urban resilience, NRSCC has been carrying out Global Ecosystem and Environment Observation Analysis Research Cooperation(GEOARC) since 2012 with reports and datasets released annually. Meanwhile, as an activity in GEO Work Programme, GEOARC aims at in-depth and extensive international cooperation, and shares domestic satellite datasets to the GEO community. GEOARC also concerns global resources, ecosystem environment, and sustainable development together with partners in the worldwide, and supports global ecological environment governance and public decision making.

As of now, 29 reports and 109 datasets about typical elements, hot issues and key regions of ecosystems and environment have been released to the public. Users can access to these resources through ChinaGEOSS Data Sharing Network（www.chinageoss.cn/geoarc/en）.
